With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clarence V. Cadwallader of Decatur, Illinois, born in Austin, Minnesota, who passed away on January 8, 2021 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jesse Arvil and Gertrude Ursala Cadwallader (Risch); his wife Betty Ruth Hatch; his daughters, Vicki DiBartolomeo (Jim) of Decatur, Claudia Cadwallader (Matt) of Atascadero, CA, Susanne Hutson (A. J.) of Cocoa Beach, FL and Sally Stieglitz (Bill) of Morton, IL; and his grandchildren, Andrew Goin (Julie), Alexa Cadwallader (Gus), Sarah Zimmerman (Justin) and Cody Stieglitz (Devan). He was also cherished by 7 great grandchildren.

“In loving memory of Clarence V. Cadwallader, Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss. We have many fond memories of Vic (and Betty) as our wonderful neighbors in Springfield. We enjoyed our many visits over the back yard fence, on their deck swing and at Holiday time. We recall a few times when one of our cats even joined in on the conversation. Vic was very generous in helping re-string Ernie's father's violin. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time.”
