He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Leonard and Betty A Carr (Ervin); his brother-in-law Bradley Newbanks; and his pets, Crystal, Moose, Molly and Doose.
He is survived by: his children, Katherine Carr of Fulton, MO, Carl Carr of Harristown, IL and Betsy Curry (James) of Lincoln, IL; his sister Carlene Newbanks of Argenta, IL; his nephew Brandon Newbanks (Argenta); and his grandson William Curry.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home - Decatur (2827 N Oakland Ave, Decatur, IL 62526). A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation.
