She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Petrowsky and Catherine Petrowsky (Gunter); her former husband Carl "Shorty" Schum; her husband Jim Spaulding; and her children, Corky, Peggy and Rick Schum.
She is survived by: her children, Denny Schum (Charlotte) of Decatur, Terry Schum of Decatur, Sharon Koontz (Terry) of Decatur and Betty Bowytz of Brooksville; and her great great grandchildren, Greysen Sikowski and Dylann Koontz. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic private family services will be held.
