She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph C. Armbruster and Louise Ann Armbruster (Gronemeyer). She is survived by: her husband Edward W. Schanuel of Decatur; her children, Warren Joseph Schanuel, Joseph Edward Schanuel (Marcella) of Decatur, Mary Jo Therese Schanuel (Craig Bulla) and Ann Jolene Schanuel of Decatur; and her grandchildren, Cynthia Weingart Kwasnik (Matthew), Lisa Weingart (Mike Tinsley), Michael Mitchell (Amanda), Marcus Mitchell (Janice), Kyle Schanuel (Brittany) and Chase Schanuel (Rebecca). She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, several cousins and many friends.
Due to the covid pandemic the family has chosen to have private family services for the safety of others.
