She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Bates and Gertrude Bates (Worthen); her husband Charles Watkins; her daughter Kim Friel; her stepson Michael Watkins; and her sister JoAnn Nelson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Wendy Koll, Laurie Obermeier (Steve) and Jody Friel (Jim); her stepson Lathe Haynes; her grandchildren, Jen Cordie-Koll (Kristy), Billy Koll (Courtney), Katey Koll, Bob Friel, Kristi Walsh (Todd), Tom Friel (Kristin), Stephanie McDonald (Andy), Michael Obermeier (Ashley), Kelly Ouska (Mark) and Tracy Yowell (William); her great grandchildren, Jaxon, Charlie, Wells, Maya, Norah, Sienna, Maeve, Luke, Emma, Molly, Kinley, Brooks, Grayson, Nolan, Emmett and Emerson; her nephew Brian Nelson (Bridget); her niece Maggie Bradford (Mike); her great-nieces, Brooke and JoAnn; and her great-nephew Sean.
