He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Polis (Guettel); his parents, Edgar Polis and Velta Polis; and his brother Oscar Polis. He is survived by: his son Mark Polis (Erin); and his granddaughters, Maya and Hazel of Lake. He is also survived by his son and daughter-in-law where he was born on a trip to.
