He is survived by: his wife Arlene Hoekstra; his children, Cindy Schutt (Ed), Dale Hoekstra (Joni), Rev. Timothy Hoekstra (Laura) and Daniel Hoekstra (Jana); and his siblings-in-law, Chester, Jr. Evers (late Myra), James Evers (late Marilyn), Phyllis Persenaire (late Charles), Sharon VanderWoude (Ken) and Laurel Douma (Martin).
