It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard C. Stephens of Cowden, Illinois, born in Naylor, Missouri, who passed away on December 18, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Stephens and Betty Stephens (King); his grandson Brandon; and his great grandchild Keeley. He is survived by: his wife Diana Stephens of Cowden; his children, Michelle Ronek (John) of Decatur, Renee Rogers (Dave) of Mt. Zion, Vicki Kennedy of Cowden and Ken Cox of Cowden; and his sisters, Kathy Marquis of Decatur and Teresa Willard of Decatur. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
