He was predeceased by: his parents, John Marion and Ethel Alma Riley (Sweazy); his wife Hazel Irene Renner; his children-in-law, Glenn Alwardt and Karen Riley; his siblings, Jack Riley (Marilyn) of Monticello, IL, Don Riley, Evelyn Riley, Virginia Sanders (Clarence), Fern Riley, Wilma Sanders (Homer), Elva Cragg (Robert) and Rosalie Sattley (Richard); his parents-in-law, Alice and Homer Renner; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Renner (Geraldine), Bill Renner, Homer Leo Renner, Jr., Eddie Roberts, Mary Riley and Helen Hudson (Jim).
He is survived by: his children, Ralph Riley, Jr. of Altamont, IL, Rodney Riley (Karis) of Effingham, IL, Roxie Alwardt of St. Elmo, IL and Rita Kirkendoll (Orville) of Herrick, IL; and his siblings-in-law, Raymond Renner (Sheila) of Stewardson, IL, Wilma Riley of Beecher City, IL, Eva Roberts of Shelbyville, IL and Doreen Renner of Columbus, OH.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
