He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Joseph "Buckwheat" and Vonita Faye Stevens (Naab); his sister Madonna Nichols; his brothers-in-law, Jim Kates and Bruce Miller; his niece Haley Wilhour; and his pet Chubs.
He is survived by: his siblings, Marsha Kates of Cowden, Joe Stevens (Cindy) of Tuscola, Sandra Miller of Beecher City, Pam Johnson (James) of Ramsey and Paula Schaefer (Evan) of Beecher City; and his brother-in-law Mike Nichols of Mode. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in his name to assist with funeral expenses.
