It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Theel of Collinsville, Illinois, who passed away on May 11, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marvin Theel to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Emil and Louisia Mary Theel; his wife Edith May Theel; and his siblings, Roberta Theel, Mary Ann Sphar, Carol Smith, Edna Anderson, Allan Theel and Harvard Theel.
He is survived by: his children, Maureen Edith Ibendahl (Eric) of Okawville, IL, Marvin Edward Theel Jr. (Krissy) of Fults, IL and George Robert Madigan of Collinsville, IL; and his siblings, Robert Theel of Phoenix, AZ, Maybell Theel of Elsa, WA and Charyl Marlow of Lacey, WA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Wild Bird Sanctuary or Lone Elk Park and will be received at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, 2800 N. Center Street, Maryville, IL 62062.
