Stack Jr. of Collinsville, Illinois, born in Granite City, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 73, on December 24, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Stack Sr. and Wilma Rose Stack; and his aunt Eleanor Buente. He is survived by: his wife Karen Stack; his stepchildren, Paul DeLuca (Gigi) of Collinsville and Laura DeLuca (Joe Pavlovec) of Troy; his grandchildren, Nigel DeLuca (Allison Kelly), Killian DeLuca, Aaron Stadts (Emily Otten) and Adam Stadts (Kylee Patterson); his siblings, Daniel Stack (Dil), Raymond Stack, Michael Stack (Joann), Bradley Stack (Patti), Anthony Stack (Robin), Stephen Stack, Kathleen Cerny (Dave) and Anna Marie "Amy" Stack; and his sister-in-law Kaye Wilson (Richard). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Due to the Covid pandemic, the family requests a private family visitation and Funeral Mass at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Troy at 11:00 a. m. on Wednesday, January 6, 2020, with Father Kevin Laughery as celebrant.

In lieu of floral tributes, memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children or to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
