He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn B. Brown; his daughter Terrie Lynn Brown; his grandson Eric M. Bird; his parents, H. Douglas Brown Jr. and Nancy Forrester Brown; his siblings, Ann Van Nuys Abdallah, Nancy Wynne Begue and William Brundred Brown; and his mother-in-law Mary Aileen Brooks.
He is survived by: his children, Randall C. Brown (John Martinelli) of St. Louis, MO and Cynthia K. Bodimer (Ben) of Emlenton, PA; his grandchildren, Ben Bodimer (Tara Dittman) of St. Jacob, IL, Zachary Sarrach of Emlenton, PA, Kyle Bird of Collinsville, IL and Dylan Bird of Collinsville, IL; his great grandchildren, Tatum Bodimer, Benjamin Bodimer III of St. Jacob, IL, Caden Bird of Summerville, SC and Braxton Bird; his sisters-in-law, Kay DuVall of Collinsville, IL and Diana Brooks (Tom Kanzler) of Collinsville, IL; and his extended family, Dave and Marge Crockarell of Edwardsville, IL..
