She was predeceased by: her husband Wilbur Sponemann; her parents, Walter Ellis Sr. and Gladys Gaultney; her parents-in-law, W. E. and Mary Sponemann; her siblings, Betty Wilke, Walter "Bud" Gaultney II and Irene Kohl; and her brothers-in-law, Arthur Wilke and Norman Niebruegge.
She is survived by: her children, Curtis Sponemann, Susan Perkins (Greg), Mary McDevitt (Jeff) and Peggy Frederking (Kevin); her grandchildren, Abby Green (Chris), Chad Perkins (Nikki), Erin Rodgers (Greg), Alex McDevitt and Riley Frederking; her great grandchildren, Logan, Kaidynn Green, Zackery, Taylor Perkins, Gigi and Demi Rodgers; her siblings, Virginia Niebruegge, Kenneth Gaultney, Francis Kohl (William) and Phyllis Weatherspoon (Phil); and her close friend Eileen Welle.
