He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Kerkemeyer and Ottilia Kerkemeyer; his wife Margaret Kerkemeyer; his daughter Mary Ann Kerkemeyer; his siblings, Leo Kerkemeyer, Rose Jones and Edward Kerkemeyer; and his sister-in-law Jerry Kerkemeyer.
He is survived by: his children, Dr. George Kerkemeyer (Marilyn), Rita Ewersmann (Paul), Jane Case (Ross), Doris Schnell (Terry), Dan Kerkemeyer (Amy), Carl Kerkemeyer, Rose Buchholz (Jeff) and Roger Kerkemeyer (Cynthia); his grandchildren, Maria Camacho (Chris), Michael Ewersmann (Carrie), Laura Schlag (Josh), Angie Case, Audrey Case, Susan Covert (Kris), Dave Schnell (Kerri), Amy Lewandowski (Doug), Adam Kerkemeyer, Cole Kerkemeyer, Anthony Buchholz, Elizabeth Buchholz, Matthew Buchholz, Anna Buchholz, Katie Kerkemeyer (William Townsend), Kevin Kerkemeyer and Sara Kerkemeyer; his great grandchildren, Makenna, Michael, Jr., Cecilia, Cameron, Lucy, Reese, Aubrey, Lila, Sydney and Jack; his brother Paul Kerkemeyer; and his siblings-in-law, Joan Kerkemeyer of Fosterburg, IL, Alice Kerkemeyer and Leland Jones of Granite City, IL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19 everyone attending must wear a mask and social distancing is mandatory.
