He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Shasteen and Genevieve Shasteen; his wife Carolyn Shasteen; and his granddaughter Izabelle Shasteen. He is survived by: his sons, Josh Shasteen (Chandra) of Potosi, MO and Nicholas Shasteen of Collinsville, IL; his grandchildren, Laila, Serah and Jared; and his brothers, Larry Shasteen of Collinsville and Gary Shasteen (Nina) of Caseyville, IL..

Memorials may be made for the grandchildren's college fund and will be received at the funeral home.
