We are sad to announce that on February 7, 2021, at the age of 76, Charles Edward Franke of Collinsville, Illinois, born in East Saint Louis, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Franke and Annabelle Franke. He is survived by: his wife Karen Franke (Schindler); his children, Chuck Franke (Dawn), Scott Franke (New), Ben Franke, Bryan Franke, Margaret Fitzsimmons and Aaron Franke (Kristen); his siblings, Tom Roberts, Mary Ann Bowers (John) and Gene Franke (Annie); and his grandchildren, Kyle Franke, Hannah Franke, Claire Franke, Anthony Franke, Dominic Franke, Sophia Franke, Elliott Fitzsimmons, Thomas Fitzsimmons, Sara Franke, Brandon Franke and Kathryn Franke.
Per St. Stephen Catholic Church regulations, all attendees of the Funeral Mass must wear masks and to please call (618) 397-0666 to RSVP, as they need to know how many people will be attending.
The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial contribution to the American Cancer Society or the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul.
