He is survived by: his wife Cherrie; his parent Marilyn Smith; his stepson William; his sisters, Susan Heisse of Collinsville, Karen Crane of Collinsville and Carla Smith of Collinsville; his nieces and nephews, Schuyler Tindall, Jordan Crane, Kailey Crane, Kirsten Zimmerman, Karsyn Tindall, Gavin Ipanis and Beau Tindall; his brother-in-law Robert Heisse; his stepsiblings, Carl Smith Jr., Lynn Morris and Vickie Cooper; and his friend Jim Sharos.
