With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Albert Duane Smith of Collinsville, Illinois, born in Eldena, Illinois, who passed away on November 14, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Smith and Rena-Mae Smith; and his brothers, Jack and Lyle Wayne Smith. He is survived by: his wife Bertha Smith; his children, David Smith (Mona) of Collinsville, IL, Ronald Smith (Kelly), Lori Smith of Collinsville, IL and Beverly Wilson (Gordon) of Jerseyville, IL; and his sister Rita Douma of Phoenix, AZ. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in his honor to Hospice of Southern Illinois and mailed to the funeral home at 2800 N. Center Street, Maryville, IL 62062.
