He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jefferson and Edna Hoyt Jefferson; his wife Doris Jefferson; and his siblings, Hoyt Jefferson (Elva), Irvin Jefferson, Mildred Wilson (Bob), Louise Hodges and Bonnie Sowers (Kenith).
He is survived by: his children, Bill Jefferson (Willa), Betty Fross (Tim) of Colchester, Bonnie Sue Johnson (Ben) of Huntertown, IN., Ed Jefferson of Medical Lake and Doris Marie Jefferson-Smith (Pete); and his siblings-in-law, Maribeth Jefferson, Ralph Gabrielson of Aurora, IL and Marilyn Constantine (Robert) of Oswego, IL.. He is also survived by 15 Grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren.
