He is survived by: his children, Dennis Cress of Chicago and Jeanne Greenwood (Eldon) of Coffeen; and his grandchildren, Marcus Lentz Lahr (Kelli), Julie Lentz Mathenia, Micah Cress (Tiffany), Jonathon Cress (Melani) and Nathan Cress (Anhie). He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
