With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Cooper of Coffeen, Illinois, who passed away on February 1, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Everette "W. E." and Mildred B. Wharry (Hastings); her husband John William Cooper (Bill); her son-in-law Ralph Drees; and her siblings, Harold Everette Wharry, Colleen, Mausey and Marlene Bailey.
She is survived by: her children, Terri Lynn Drees of Trenton, IL and John William Cooper, Jr. (Peggy) of Coffeen, IL; and her grandchildren, George Timmermann (Jamie) of Mascoutah, IL, Jami Blumhorst (Travis) of New Baden, IL, Joseph Drees-Douglas (Bobby) of Highland, IL, Tyler Cooper (Jamie) of Coffeen, IL, Colby Cooper (Tara) of Gillespie, IL and Kerriann Reeder (Nick) of Coffeen, IL. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the First United Methodist Church in Vandalia, IL.
