We are sad to announce that on July 23, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Phyllis I. Akers of Coal Valley, Illinois, born in Oneida, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Lundquist and Leota Lundquist (Roach); her grandson Matthew; her great grandchild Kash Phelps; and her siblings, Harry Lundquist, Doris VanDaele, Jean VanDeVoorde and Betty Porter.

She is survived by: her husband Roy; her children, C. David (Karen Akers), Debbie (Jeff Dahl), Darla (Mike Phelps) and Dan (Cindy Akers); her grandchildren, Heather Nichols (Randy), Josh Akers, Heath Akers, Danielle Akers, Andy Dahl (Jill), Jacob Phelps, Erica Maere (Jeremy), Kimberly Blanchard (Chad) and Katlyn Akers; and her siblings, Carol McCall of East Moline and James Lundquist (Rosann) of Ohio. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren with two on the way; a great-great-grandson.
