He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Shattuck and Ruth Shattuck (Stout). He is survived by: his wife Jackie Rugh; his children, Tara Taube (Rick), Lon R. Shattuck and Troy Shattuck (Julie); his grandsons, Jesse Shattuck and Dr. Sawyer Shattuck; his siblings, Vernon Shattuck (Janie) and Karen Sayre (Steve); and his sister-in-law Carrol Rugh.
Memorials may be made to the Henry County Fair Association or First Baptist Church, Moline, where he was a member.
