Jennifer L. Bowles Obituary
Jennifer L. Bowles, 58, formerly of Coal Valley, Illinois, died Tuesday, May 17, 2022, in River Crossing of Moline.
Graveside services and burial are Tuesday, May 24, at Coal Valley Cemetery. Those attending should meet at Trimble Funeral Home, 1700 1st Street, Coal Valley, at 1 p.m. to process to the cemetery.
Jennifer Lynn Bowles was born March 21, 1964, in Moline, to George E. and Coral (Dibble) Bowles. She graduated from Marycrest College and did graduate work at the University of Wisconsin. She had many interests. She loved all animals, especially wolves, and had two cats, Jonny and Valentino, whom she adored. She was very much into arts and crafts, and did art journaling, embroidery, and diamond painting. She was a big Quad City Mallards fan, loved music and singing, enjoyed comic books, and made Christmas baskets for children for many years. Highlights of her life were a trip to California with her brother, George, and a trip to Greece and Turkey with her nephew, Matt.
Jennifer is survived by siblings, Rebecca Abbott and her husband Charles of Davenport, George M. Bowles of Colona, and Benjamin J. Bowles of Chicago; a step-sister, Beth Murzyn of Geneseo; a nephew, Matthew Abbott of Davenport; as well as numerous cousins and aunts. She was preceded in death by her parents and step-father, Charles E. Meyer.
