He is survived by: his wife Janet Townsend (Geneseo) of John's Lutheran Church; his children, Greg Stenzel (Beverly) of Raleigh, NC and Jill Minnaert (Kyle) of Coal Valley, IL; his grandchildren, Dr. Jeremy Hartsock (Courtney Fung) of Lansing, MI and Allie Klatt (Eric) of Colona, IL; his great grandchildren, Asa, Summer and Kinnick; and his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Stenzel of Geneseo, IL, Jeannette Stenzel of Orion, IL, Joan, Dave VanNest of Port Byron, IL and Jay Townsend of East Moline, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and their children.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Orion, IL where Elmer & Janet are members.
