She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph DePorter and Margaret DePorter (Schatteman); her husband Kenneth E. Frels; her children, Steve Frels (Valerie) of Fort Myers, FL, Linda Johnson (Ed) of Aliso Viejo, CA and John Frels (Monica) of Libertyville, IL; her grandchildren, Michael Frels (Angela), Jenny Lenger (Tom), Thomas Johnson, Andrew Frels, Kate Frels and Ryan Frels; her great grandchildren, Lucas, Tyler, Clare, Shane and Carter; her sister Marion Teerlinck; and also Kathleen Neilson.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or St. Maria Goretti Church.
