He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Peter VanDuyne and Gertrude VanDuyne (Glass); his wife Shirley McClellan; his children, Kelly Shaw (Jess Howard) of Galesburg, Michele McVietty (Kevin) of Orion, Dennis VanDuyne (Rebecca) of Driggs, Nancy Hancock (Paul) of Orion, Beth VanDuyne of Pittsboro, Peggy VanDuyne of Portland, Alan VanDuyne (Kimberley) of Lynn Center and Jeffrey VanDuyne of Coal Valley; his grandchildren, Tara, Ross, Morgan, Andrew, Nathan, Emily, Austin, Samuel, Benjamin, Abigail, Rachel, Ryan, Tate of Cade, C. J., Raegan, Mallary, Hayley, Maya and Elyse; his great grandchildren, Carter, Hendrix, Myla, Bode and Elizabeth; and his sisters-in-law, Margaret and Martina VanDuyne. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and their families, and close friends.
