We are sad to announce that on December 14, 2021, at the age of 83, Charles E. Meyer of Coal Valley, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Earl Meyer; his wife Coral Dibble Bowles; his mother Mildred Batterton (Maston); his stepfather William Batterton; and his siblings, Glenn Batterton, Dale Batterton and Kathleen Steckler.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jim Batterton, Gale Batterton, Margaret Chilcote and Lois Elledge; his daughter Shelly; his grandchildren, Rebecca Abbott (Charles), Jennifer Bowles and Matthew Abbott; and his sister-in-law Elnor Simmons. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their children.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
