It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas Joseph Kodat (Coal City, Illinois), born in Morris, Illinois, who passed away on March 25, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Kodat and Mary Kodat (Walsh); and his wife Peggy Kodat. He is survived by: his children, Eric Kodat (Ann) of Coal City, IL., Jeff Kodat (Laura) of Dallas, TX. and Lisa Kodat-Lee (Tony) of Scotts Valley, CA.; his grandchildren, Ethan Kodat, Adam Kodat, Abby Kodat, Noah Kodat, Arabella Lee and Preston Lee; and his siblings, George Kodat (Rita), Peter Kodat (Ana), Phillip Kodat (Karen) and Judy Martin (Richard). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and "adopted" children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Coal City United Methodist Church.
