Richard Farcus Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 22, 2021, at the age of 93, Richard Farcus of Coal City, Illinois, born in Joliet, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Farcus and Victoria Farcus (Piekarz); his sisters, Lucille Lee (Calvin) and Louise Frieh (Leonard); and his siblings-in-law, Roy Brunner, John Brunner (Eleanor) and Alice Dinger.
He is survived by: his wife Amy Martha Brunner; his son Alan; his daughter-in-law Cindy Farcus of Coal City; his grandsons, Adam Farcus of Milwaukee, Matthew Farcus (Jenna) of Wilmington and Benjamin Farcus of Coal City; his great grandchildren, Athena Elizabeth Farcus and Everett Alan Farcus; and his siblings, Patricia Sandretto (late Richard) of Joliet, Helen Farcus of Joliet and Raymond Farcus (Cheryl) of Mazon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends for a COVID observant walk through visitation on Saturday, March 27, 2021 between the hours of 9:30 a. m. and 12:30 p. m. at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (one block north of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Richard's memory to Assumption Catholic Church Building Fund, 195 S. Kankakee Street, Coal City, IL 60416.
