We are sad to announce that on July 4, 2021, at the age of 92, Mo Bennett of Coal City, Illinois, born in Georgetown, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Bennett and Leona Bennett (Lanter); his wife Virginia; his grandsons, Marcus and Wesley; and his siblings, Elizabeth Fuel (Leonard), Josephine Maki (Arnie), LaVeda Fuel (Noel), Silas Bennett (Betty), John Bennett and Carlos Bennett (Norma).
He is survived by: his children, Mark Bennett (Susan) of Shoals, David Bennett of LaPorte, Julia Waters (Shawn) of Aurora, Jane Farley (late John) of Coal City and Suzanne Richardson (Guy) of Indianapolis, Indiana; his stepdaughters, Lorraine Curran (Becky), Christine Reigh (Daniel) and Ginger Brickey (John); and his grandchildren, Patricia, Matthew, Shawna, Dathan, Monique, Travis, Shastine, Joshua, Susan, Crystal, Ashley and Noah. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Mo's memory to the Shriner's Children Hospital.
