He was predeceased by: his parents, Cortland Beers and Mary Louise Beers (Ellenberg); his stepfather Pete Beers; and his siblings, Ronald Brogdon and Anna Stepanek.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Brogdon; his daughters, Casandra Collier (Phillip) of Coal City and Jennifer Marquez (Ismael, Jr.) of Coal City; his grandchildren, Brenden, Alexas Collier, Liam and Jaxon Marquez; his brother Larry Beers (Debbie) of Annapolis, MD; and his sister-in-law Mary Ellen Brogdon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
