It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Vacca of Coal City, Illinois, who passed away on January 4, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Joseph and Delores Irene Vacca (Bertino); and his sister Carla Vacca. He is survived by: his sister Donna Gordon of Coal City; his nephew Dave Hahn (Melissa) of Minooka; his great-nieces, Miranda Hahn and Gianna Hahn; his great-nephew Dominic Hahn; and his aunt Jessie Kasher (late Joseph H.) of Coal City. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.

A COVID observant and walk through memorial visitation for both John and Carla will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 from 10:00 a. m. until the time of memorial service 12:00 p. m. at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (one block north of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in John's memory to the Ottawa Historical and Scouting Heritage Museum, Carbon Hill School Museum or to the Boy Scouts of America.

“I was shocked to hear of John's sudden passing. My late husband and I spent time with John at many car shows along with Rita and Morris McPherson and numerous other friends of John's.
