He was predeceased by: his parents, John Votta and Violet Votta; and his friend Kenny Huston. He is survived by: his wife Lucretia Votta of Carbon Hill; his children, Craig Votta of Dwight, Christopher Votta of Omaha and Kathie Harms (Matthew) of Lacon, Illinois; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Jacob, A. J., Helena and Lenora; his brother Charlie Votta (Janie) of Braidwood; his cousin Joseph Votta of Arkansas; and his nieces and nephews, John, Catherine, Michael, Elizabeth, Jay, Richard Farrero, Ed Pacchetti and Robert Frye.
