She was predeceased by: her parents, Celestino Togliatti and Marianna Togliatti (Savant); and her husband John "Jack" James Edwards. She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Bunton (Gary) of Coal City, Karen Nicoletti (Jack) of California and Jacquelyn Hren (Raymond) of Coal City; and her grandchildren, Celeste Sheridan (Mike), John Bunton (Ellen), Ryan Bunton (Sheila), Brock Bunton (Natalie), John Nicoletti (Annie), Jason Nicoletti (Suzi), Jenelle Maris (Joe), John Hren (Jill), Christopher Hren (Kelley) and Nicole Blustein (Gideon). She is also survived by great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Born April 23, 1919 in Coal City, during the Spanish Influenza Pandemic of 1918-19, Celeste was a daughter of Celestino and Marianna (Savant) Togliatti.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Celeste's memory to Assumption Catholic Church, Unit #1 Foundation and Joliet Area Hospice.
