She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Davito and Caroline Davito (Vaira); her husband James Maland; her brother William Davito; her sister-in-law Rose Davito (Marsaglia); her brother Joseph Davito; her sister-in-law Betty Davito (Guardia); her great grandchild Damon Young; and her son-in-law Larry Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Young (Don) of Huntley, Diane Smith (Jim Giordano) of Coal City and Judy Morgese (Tony) of Long Beach, Mississippi.; her grandchildren, Anmaree Mora of Wheaton, Jason Smith (Andrea) of Coal City, Craig Young (Julie) of Cary and Marc Young (Tracie) of Huntley; her pet Tuck Morgese of Long Beach, Mississippi; her great grandchildren, Arianna Atkinson (Joseph), Kate Mora, Halen, Brody Young, Ella, Sophie, Greta Young, Paityn, Keegan and Ava Smith; and her caregiver Mary Gibson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as her special friend.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Betty's memory to the Assumption Catholic Church Building Fund; Lightways Hospice; The Coal City Fireman's Association, or to a charity of the donor's choosing.
