He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Franklin and Anna Francis Sharp (Gregg); his former wife Etta Marie Sharp (Mitchell); his spouse Florene Payne (Tackitt); and his children, Darbie Sharp, Dennis Sharp and Jerry Sharp.
He is survived by: his children, Benny Sharp of Clay City, Allen Sharp of Clay City, Dylan Sharp of Flora and Sarah Williams (Darren) of Flora. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
