He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley and Beulah Young (Wathan); and his siblings, Tom Young, Dean Young, William "Bill" Wathan, Althea "Dude" Guinn, Bonnie Hayes and Nita Stanley.
He is survived by: his wife Frances K. Goings; his children, Charles "Chuck" Young of Clay City, Richard Young of Flora and Teresa Young (Leslye) of Foley, AL; his daughter-in-law Lori Young of Marion, KY; his grandchildren, Jill Young (Mark Lewis) of Clay City, Misty Lindeman (Matt) of Clay City, Mandy Sullens (Cody Jay) of Cisne, Heather Middleton (Caleb) of Kinmundy, Jessica Young (Travis Wilson) of Clay City, Sarah Tinsley (Brandon) of Marion, KY, Karl Young (Cheyenne) of Flora, John Robert Young of Olney, Steven Long of Clay City, Nathan Young (Brianne) of Clay City and Chris Young (Sierra) of Flora; and his siblings, Eldon Young (Freida) of Watson, Kay Zech of Austin, TX and Sue Gay (John) of Claremont. He is also survived by 34 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
Memorial donations are suggested to the family to assist with expenses and will be accepted through the funeral home.
