He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Pitawanakwat and Victoria Pitawanakwat; and his child Tessiana. He is survived by: his wife Winifred Joseph Pitawanakwat (Winnie); his children, Allen, Desiree and Amber (Kumani); his grandchildren, Stephanie (Chad), Kitana, Tessiana and Evan; his great grandchildren, Michael and Jordyn; his siblings, Vincent Pitawanakwat (Bonnie), Marie Rogers (late Gary) and Margaret Pitawanakwat; his uncle Billy; and also, Lawrence, Julian, Robert Pitawanakwat, Sandra and Gertrude Trudeau.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home (233 Larch St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E3E1). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the R. J. Barnard Chapel (233 Larch St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E3E1).
