She was predeceased by: her spouse Monserrate Aviles (Fred); her parents, Piotr Swistak and Jadwiga Swistak; and her stepson Anthony V. Aviles. She is survived by: her children, Lenea M. Smith (Michael), Dionna L. Rilling (John), Edward P. Piotrowski and Catrina M. Greer; her stepdaughters, Cynthia D. Camacho, Yolanda A. Barbosa (James) and Julia A. Davies (Joseph); her grandchildren, Monika, Luis, Gabriel, Amber, Eddy, April, Johnny, Joseph, Anthony, Adrian, Emilo, Eli, Meelo and Amaya; her great grandchildren, Kayla, Isaac, Isaiah, Albert and Julian; and her pet Puposz "Lola".
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Malec & Sons Funeral Home (6000 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60646). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at the Maryhill Cemetery (8600 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714).
