He was predeceased by: his wife June; his son James Egem; and his brothers, Clarence (late Charlotte), Harold (late Virginia), Edward (late Betty), Raymond (late Stella) and Norman.
He is survived by: his children, Christine Berezowski and Thomas Beranek (Tina); his grandchildren, James Bass, Michael Berezowski (Christine), David Berezowski, Jason Berezowski, Nikole Beranek, Jennifer Beranek, Thomas Beranek (Michelle) and Ashley Beranek-Mulbrandon (Joel); his great grandchildren, Nora, Hadeon, Madison, Avani, Jordyn, Joe, Mia, Taylor, Khloe, Denny, Joshua, Greg, Joey and Carolyn; and his sister Patricia Waltz (late Steven).
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home (6150 N Cicero Ave, Chicago, IL 60646). A Mass was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Woods Church (6955 N Hiawatha Ave, Chicago, IL 60646). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Adalbert Cemetery (6800 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714).
