He was loved and cherished by many people including: his husband Lange; his children, Alexander Covelli, Kathleen Nickel (Jeff) and Michael Covelli (Julie); his grandchildren, Ashley, Andrea, Alexandra Nickel and Jamie Covelli; his parents, Florence Adduci and Alexander Covelli; and his siblings, Catherine Mitidiero (late Frank), Rosemarie and Frances Bass (late Robert).
