He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Susan Yant; his parents, Fred Yant and Dorothy Yant; his children, Matthew Yant (Kamie), Joanna Mullett (Craig) and Jessica O'Brien (Jimmy); his grandchildren, Jacob, Nathaniel Mullett, Grace and Colm O'Brien; his siblings, Diana Wagner (Don), Gayle Marquez (Sam) and Sandy Stanley (Don McNish); and his siblings-in-law, Bob McCollam (Anne) and Mary Langheld (George).
