He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Lee and Faye L. Light Short. He is survived by: his wife Robyn Gates; his children, Ashley Short (Josh Abbott) of Tucson, AZ, Phillip Short (Mary-Kate) of Naperville, IL and Mitchell Short of Peoria, IL; his stepsons, Steven, Troy and Andrew Kaskavage; and his siblings, Kelly White (Ralph) of Oglesby, IL and Scott Short (Rachel Miller) of Odell, IL.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be given to the Charity of the Donor's Choice.
