He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell Miskimins and Esther Miskimins; his brother Frank Miskimins; and his nephew Kole Heuermann. He is survived by: his wife Deedra Brooks; his daughters, Ashley Moe (Kyle) and Andrea Woodford (John); his grandchildren, Jack and Lillian Woodford; his sister Mary Peterson (Steve) of Ankeny, Iowa; his sister-in-law Tammy Riley (Bryan); and his pets, Marco and Annabelle. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Michael (Mike) Miskimins, 59, died Saturday, December 24, 2022 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana surrounded by his family.
