It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence G. Ransom of Champaign, Illinois, born in Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on January 5, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mabel McDaniels Jones and Lawrence Jones; and her daughter Rev. Linda Siddall. She is survived by: her husband James Ransom Jr.; and her children, Shahidah Sanchez of El Cajon, CA and James T. Ransom of Springfield, IL.
