It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane Goodrich Metz of Champaign, Illinois, born in Saunemin, Illinois, who passed away on March 8, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Metz and Mardell Metz (Goodrich); his wife Joyce Kief; his siblings, Raymond Metz, Robert Metz and Joy Valentine; and his grandson Barry Dauenbaugh (Duane).
He is survived by: his children, Rita Skoulikas (Steve) and Richard Metz of Champaign; and his sister Elizabeth Moore Schwartz of Urbana. He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great Great Grandchildren.
