We are sad to announce that on February 26, 2023, at the age of 80, Anne Dighton Cook of Champaign, Illinois, born in Decatur, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Anne Dighton Cook to pay them a last tribute.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Andrew Jackson Dighton and Elizabeth Marian Dighton (DeBoer); her daughters, Elizabeth McMahon (Robert) of Alexandria, VA and Sarah Edwards (Graham) of Champaign, IL; her grandchildren, Sarah, Anna McMahon, Emilie and William Edwards; her sister Alice Gunter; her nephew John Gunter; and her brother-in-law Philippe Gunter.
Her tenure covering schools served her well as an interim home 2nd grade teacher and tutor for her granddaughter during the heart of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Donations in her memory can be made to the Animal Hospital of Monticello.
