With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walt Morganthaler (Cerro Gordo, Illinois), who passed away on June 17, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Morganthaler and Whitted; and his brothers-in-law, Gene Bell and Jerry Shively. He is survived by: his wife Doris Bell; his sons, Michael and Gregory; his grandchildren, Nicolas, Michelle, Tyler and Alisha; and his siblings, Charlotte Shively, Ann Sawyer (Ed) and Eddie Mark Morganthaler. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Walt's honor may be made to Oakley Brick Church of the Brethren, or the Cerro Gordo Church of the Brethren.
